Growing up in rural Iowa, community is a strong value instilled in Kasey. This value has lead her in curating a staff, brand, and environment since 2016.  The space is a combination of her husbands craftsmanship with her vision of natural light, mixed with earth tones and wood accents. The name dsm salon was inspired by the Des Moines airport code. Leading people is the “why” behind the dsm brand. Kasey helps lead new stylists into the industry, experienced staff to grow within themselves and our team of leaders to mentors.
